Getting started
What is Rexora?
An expert advisor for MetaTrader 5. It works a buy ladder and a sell ladder at the same time and manages each side as a basket — layers are added as price moves against a side, and the side closes on a basket target rather than each position closing on its own.
It runs in your own terminal, on your own account, at your own broker. We never hold your money and never have access to your trading account.
What do I need before it will run?
- MetaTrader 5, build 2085 or later.
- A hedging account — not a netting account.
- A cent account.
- Algorithmic trading enabled, in the terminal and in the expert advisor's Common tab.
- https://rexora.io added to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
- A machine that stays on, because the ladder is only managed while the terminal is running.
A licence, a download and the presets come with your purchase. Everything above is on your side and none of it can be granted by the expert advisor itself.
Why does it need a hedging account?
Because both ladders exist at once. On a netting account a buy and a sell in the same symbol collapse into one net position, and every basket figure the engine produces — layers, break-even, target — stops meaning anything.
This is enforced rather than advised: the expert advisor reads the account's margin mode when it starts, refuses to load on a netting account, and prints the reason in the Experts tab before it draws anything on your chart. Most MT5 brokers offer both models; the terminal states which one you have in the Journal at login.
Why does it need a cent account?
Cent accounts allow finer control over position sizing, which is part of how the strategy is scaled. Running it on another account type puts execution outside the range it was designed and tested for.
Brokers label these differently — cent, micro-cent and similar — and some offer none at all, so confirm the account type with your broker before you activate a licence. A cent account changes the scale at which positions are sized; it does not reduce the risk of trading and does not protect deposited capital.
Which broker should I use?
Any MT5 broker that offers a hedging cent account and permits expert advisors. We do not publish a list of brokers and have no arrangement with any of them — a list we had not tested ourselves would be a recommendation we could not stand behind, and broker terms change without telling anybody.
Two properties are worth confirming before you fund anything: that the account is hedging, and that it is a cent account. Both are answerable by your broker in one message.
What does it trade, and can I run more than one?
Rexora Gold trades XAUUSD and Rexora BTC trades BTCUSD. The Bundle includes both products and issues one licence for each, so both downloads are available.
You can run both at once — one chart each. Give each instance its own InpMagicNumber: every position the expert advisor counts, manages or closes is filtered by that number, so two instances sharing one would each treat the other's trades as its own.
Prices and what each product covers are on the Products page.
Do you guarantee a return?
No. No trading system can guarantee returns, and any that claims to should be treated with suspicion. Rexora is software that executes a defined strategy with defined risk controls, on your account, with your settings and your money at stake.
Read the Risk Disclosure before you buy.
Buying and payment
How do I pay?
In stablecoin, from your own wallet or exchange. Checkout currently accepts USDT on Tron, and USDT or USDC on Ethereum; the exact list is whatever the checkout page offers you at the time.
You are shown an address, an exact amount and a countdown. Send that amount from anywhere, and the payment is detected on the chain automatically — there is no receipt to email us and nothing to confirm by hand. A Tron transfer usually clears within a couple of minutes; Ethereum takes longer and depends on how busy the network is.
Why does the amount have to be exact?
Because the amount is how your payment is matched to your order. Nothing about the transfer identifies you otherwise, so an amount that differs even slightly cannot be attributed automatically.
The common way this goes wrong is an exchange withdrawal fee taken out of the amount you typed, so less arrives than you sent. Enter the figure shown at checkout as the amount to be received, and let the fee be charged on top of it.
I sent the wrong amount, or it arrived after the countdown ran out.
Nothing is lost. Payments that are short, over, unmatched or late go into a queue that a person works through, and the money is in our treasury either way — it is a delay, not a loss.
Your order page has a field for the transaction ID, which flags the order for checking. Sending that same ID to support with your order reference is the fastest route.
Do you offer refunds?
No, once your licence and download access have been delivered. At checkout you are asked to tick — never pre-ticked — that you want Rexora supplied immediately and that you understand the sale becomes final at that point. That acknowledgement is what makes it final.
The No-Refund and Cancellation Policy sets this out in full.
What this does not touch: your statutory rights if the product is faulty, is not as described, or is never delivered. Those are not excluded and cannot be.
How do renewals work?
A licence runs for the period you bought and is renewed from your account page. Renewing extends the licence you already have: the key does not change and neither does the trading account it is bound to.
Your account shows the expiry date for every licence, and warns you there seven days and one day before an active one runs out.
Licence and activation
How do I activate a licence?
Copy the key from the licence card on your account page and paste it into the Licence key input when you attach the expert advisor. The first trading account that presents a valid key is the account the licence binds to, so for most people there is nothing to set up in advance.
One step is easy to miss: MetaTrader blocks outbound web requests by default, so https://rexora.io has to be added to the allow-list before the check can reach us. See the next answer.
The log says MetaTrader cannot reach rexora.io.
That is the WebRequest allow-list, and an expert advisor cannot add itself to it — the permission is per terminal and only you can grant it.
- Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.
- Tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".
- Add https://rexora.io
- Click OK, then remove and re-attach the expert advisor.
Until that is done, Rexora does not stop dead: it manages, trails and closes anything already open. It only declines to start new cycles, and it says so in one line in the Experts log naming these exact steps.
What happens if my connection drops, or your server is down?
You keep trading. Every successful check hands the expert advisor a signed credential that it stores beside the terminal, and that credential keeps it running for up to seven days without reaching us at all. A dropped connection, a DNS problem or maintenance at our end is not a trading outage.
Checks happen when the expert advisor starts and every six to twelve hours after that, on the timer thread — never on a tick, so a slow network can never delay an order.
Can I use one licence on two trading accounts at once?
No. A licence is bound to one trading account at a time. Running it on a second account means moving it, which stops the first one from opening new trades.
If you want two accounts trading at the same time, you need two licences.
Can I change the trading account a licence is bound to?
Yes, from your account page, a limited number of times — three moves per licence. The page shows how many you have used and how many are left, and asks you to confirm before spending one.
Worth knowing before you test: a licence binds to the first account that presents it, and a demo account has a login ID like any other. Binding to demo and then moving to live costs you one of the three.
What happens when a licence expires, or is refused?
The expert advisor stops opening new cycles and keeps managing what is already open — trailing it, and closing it on target — to the end. It never abandons a live basket, and it says on the panel and in the log which of expired, suspended, revoked or bound-elsewhere applies.
It also keeps asking every thirty minutes, so renewing a licence resumes trading on its own. You do not have to restart the terminal or re-attach anything.
Where do I download the expert advisor and the presets?
From the downloads section of your account page. You see exactly the files that belong to products you hold an active licence for — the files are not on a public URL, so there is nothing to guess, share or index.
Presets ship alongside the expert advisor. Load one from the Inputs tab rather than typing settings in by hand.
Is my licence key a secret?
It is an identifier, not a password. It is safe to read out to support, and support will ask for it.
Your account password is a different matter, and nobody at Rexora will ever ask you for it — or for your broker password, your investor password, or your trading account credentials.
Running it
Do I need a VPS?
Strictly, no: Rexora runs on any Windows machine with MetaTrader 5. In practice you need something that stays on. Rexora manages the basket only while the terminal is running and connected — a ladder left open with the terminal closed is an unmanaged position, and nothing on our side can watch it for you.
Your account has a VPS page: which provider we point customers to, which plan is enough for Rexora, and the four steps to get MetaTrader running on it.
What decides the choice is not processing power. It is uptime and a short, stable connection to your broker's server — a VPS that never reboots is worth more than a fast one that does.
What risk controls does it have, and are they switched on?
Three thresholds, each measured against a side's floating loss, and they are meant to be read together as an escalation:
- InpCombinedModeTrigger — the sides stop closing independently and wait for a combined target.
- InpMaxDirectionLoss — that side stops adding layers; what is open keeps running.
- InpDirectionStopLoss — that side is closed at market.
Read this part carefully. In the shipped profile the outer two are set so high that they are effectively disabled, which reproduces the behaviour of the original 0.01 + 0.01 configuration — so out of the box there is no hard loss cut at all. Whether to leave it that way is your decision, and it is the single most consequential setting in the product. The setup guide in your account says the same thing.
What is the minimum deposit?
We do not publish one, because no single figure would be honest. What your account has to survive is not the typical ladder — it is the deepest ladder you are willing to sit through, and that depends on settings you choose.
Layer n is sized:
InpInitialLot × InpLotMultiplier^n + n × InpLotAddition
The shipped profile is linear — multiplier 1.0, addition +0.01 — so the eleventh layer is 0.11 lots and the whole ladder to that point holds 0.66 lots, on a cent account. Raise the multiplier and the shape changes completely: at 1.5, that same layer is roughly thirty-eight times the initial lot.
Size the initial lot against the worst case you would hold, not the average one, and run a full week on demo with your intended preset before any of it is real. The projection calculator on our homepage is an assumption tool — it shows what a rate of return you type in would compound to, and it is not a forecast.
Which chart and timeframe should I attach it to?
Any. The engine is tick-driven and does not read the chart period — with one exception: candle and fractal trailing use InpTrailingTimeframe, and leaving that at PERIOD_CURRENT means changing your chart period changes trailing behaviour. Pin it to an explicit timeframe if that matters to you.
Are the news and time filters on by default?
Neither is. Both ship off, which reproduces the previous version's behaviour exactly, and both gate only the first layer of a cycle — recovery layers, trailing, basket closing and risk management run regardless. A filter never abandons an open basket.
The news filter considers high-impact events only, and only those on the chart symbol's own currencies. It needs the terminal connected to the MetaQuotes economic calendar, and it is inert in the Strategy Tester, where calendar history is not available.
Can I close things myself while it is running?
Yes. The panel has nine buttons: close everything, winners only or losers only, for all positions, the buy side or the sell side. The close buttons also withdraw that side's resting stop order so the ladder does not immediately rebuild.
Every button is scoped to this expert advisor's magic number on this chart's symbol, so trades from another instance, another chart or your own manual trading are never touched. A confirmation dialog naming the symbol and magic number appears first, unless you switch it off.
Does it work in the Strategy Tester?
Yes, and no licence check runs there at all — a backtest places no real orders and cannot reach the network.
Two things to know about tester results: use "Every tick based on real ticks" if your broker provides them, because ladders of pending orders are sensitive to the path price takes inside a bar; and the news filter does nothing in the tester, so a tested run does not reflect it. The time filter does work.
Account and help
How do I get help?
Telegram or email, both on the Support page, and both reaching the same people.
Include your licence key, the MT5 account number, your broker, whether the account is a cent account, and whatever the terminal printed in its Experts or Journal tab. Each of those left out is one more exchange before anyone can start looking.
How do I know I am talking to Rexora?
Rexora will never ask you for your broker password, your investor password or your account login details, and will never ask you to send funds to an individual's wallet. Payment addresses are shown on your own order page, on our site, and nowhere else.
Our only Telegram handle and our only email address are published on the Support page. Any other account presenting itself as Rexora support is not.
I cannot sign in, or I did not get the verification email.
You sign in with your email address, not a username. Password resets and a resend of the verification email are both on the account pages.
If nothing arrives, check the spam folder first — then write to support from the address you registered with.
Is there a referral or partner programme?
Yes. The Partners page explains how it works and how to join.
