Risk disclosure
Trading gold and cryptocurrency with leverage carries a high risk of losing money. This page explains what those risks are in plain terms. Please read it before you buy a licence or deposit any funds.
What Rexora is
Rexora is a brand and product name. The Rexora brand and software are operated and sold by ALTHRONIX TRADING L.L.C, a Limited Liability Company – Single Owner registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under commercial licence number 1569308, with its registered office at Office 37, Al Khabeesi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Where this page says "Rexora", "we", "us" or "our", it means that company.
Rexora sells software. Rexora Gold and Rexora BTC are expert advisors for MetaTrader 5: programs that place and manage trades on a trading account you own and control, according to rules fixed in advance.
Rexora does not hold your money, does not have access to your funds, and does not trade on your behalf as a manager or adviser would. Your account remains with your broker, in your name, under your control. You can stop the software at any time.
We are not a broker, not a custodian, and not a portfolio or discretionary manager. You open, fund and control the trading account yourself, with a broker of your own choosing, and your money stays with that broker throughout.
A licence permits you to run the software on one trading account. It is not a share in a fund, not a managed account, not a signal service, and not an investment product.
You can lose money, including all of it
Trading gold and cryptocurrency with leverage carries a high risk of loss. You can lose some or all of the capital you deposit. This is the ordinary outcome for a meaningful proportion of people who trade leveraged products, not an unlikely worst case.
Depending on your broker, your account type and the conditions at the time, losses can exceed the amount you deposited, leaving you owing money. Some brokers offer negative balance protection that prevents this; many do not, and the terms differ. Check what your broker provides before you deposit.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely without affecting your living costs, your obligations, or your ability to meet an emergency. Never trade with borrowed money.
Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains
Leverage lets you control a position larger than your deposit. The effect is symmetrical and it is the losses that matter: a small adverse move in the market can wipe out a large share of your account, and can do so faster than you can react.
The higher the leverage, the smaller the market move needed to close your position at a loss.
Automation does not reduce risk
Automated software executes a strategy consistently. It does not predict the market, does not know what will happen next, and has no judgement about conditions its rules did not anticipate.
Consistency is not accuracy. A strategy applied faultlessly can still lose money for as long as market conditions are unfavourable to it, and there is no period after which it is due to recover.
Automation also introduces risks that manual trading does not have: a program will keep following its rules through conditions a person would have stepped away from, and it can act far faster than you can intervene.
What Rexora trades, and why that matters
Rexora Gold trades XAUUSD. Gold moves sharply around economic data, central bank decisions and geopolitical events, and those moves can happen in seconds.
Rexora BTC trades BTCUSD. Cryptocurrency is materially more volatile than most traditional instruments, trades around the clock including weekends, and can move substantially while you are asleep or unable to reach your account.
Both instruments can gap — opening at a price far from where they last traded — so a position can close at a considerably worse price than the level you intended.
Cent accounts change scale, not risk
Rexora requires a cent account. Cent accounts denominate balances in cents rather than whole units, which allows position sizes to be set at a finer granularity than a standard account permits. That is a requirement of how the strategy is scaled.
A cent account does not reduce the risk of trading, does not limit how much you can lose, and does not protect your deposit. The same percentage loss on the same strategy costs you the same proportion of your money.
Brokers use different names and different terms for these accounts. Confirm the account type, its leverage, and its protections with your broker directly before activating a licence.
Execution conditions differ, and they affect your results
Spread, commission, swap and financing charges, slippage, order execution speed, requotes, latency between your platform and the broker, available liquidity, and the leverage on your account all affect outcomes. They differ between brokers, between account types at the same broker, and from hour to hour.
The same software, running the same rules on the same instrument at the same time, can produce materially different results on two different accounts. Nothing about Rexora changes this, and no result obtained on one account should be treated as what another account will produce.
Past and simulated results say nothing about the future
Backtests are simulations over historical data. They benefit from knowing what the market did, they cannot fully reproduce spread, slippage, latency or liquidity, and they are easy to make look good by adjusting a strategy until it fits the past.
Live results from any account, including our own, describe what happened in particular conditions during a particular period. They are not a forecast and they are not a promise.
No past or simulated result — ours or anyone else's — indicates what your account will do.
Software, connections and services can fail
An expert advisor only trades while MetaTrader 5 is running and connected. If your computer or VPS restarts, loses power, loses its network connection, or is interrupted by an update, the software stops managing open positions — and positions left open are still exposed to the market.
Platform updates, broker server maintenance, disconnections, hosting failures and defects in the software itself can all prevent orders from being placed, modified or closed when intended.
You are responsible for the environment the software runs in, including keeping it running and monitoring it.
Your broker is a separate risk
Your money is held by your broker, not by Rexora. If your broker fails, freezes withdrawals, changes its terms, widens spreads, alters leverage, or restricts trading in an instrument, that affects you directly and Rexora cannot influence it.
Choosing a broker, and understanding what protection you have if it fails, is your decision and your responsibility.
This is not advice
Nothing on this website, in the software, or in any communication from Rexora is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice or a personal recommendation. Nothing here takes account of your circumstances, your finances, your experience or your goals.
If you are unsure whether trading leveraged products is appropriate for you, seek advice from someone independent and appropriately qualified before you deposit any money.
Test on a demo account first
Run Rexora on a demo account with your own broker before you run it with real money. A demo account costs nothing, and it is the only way to see how the software behaves with your broker, your account type, your execution conditions and the settings you have chosen.
This is not a formality. It is the single most effective step you can take to avoid an avoidable loss.
No guarantee of profit
We do not guarantee profit, a minimum return, a maximum drawdown, a win rate, or continuous operation.
Any figure describing expected returns — including in any projection or calculator on our site — is an illustration based on assumptions you select, not a prediction, and should not be relied on when deciding whether to buy.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for deciding whether to trade at all, for selecting your broker and account, for the capital you put at risk, for configuring and monitoring the software, and for complying with the laws and tax obligations that apply where you live.
You should satisfy yourself that you understand how the software behaves before running it with money you cannot afford to lose.
